Because Kudus fight with their horns they are often very marked up. The only way to use many of the horns
is make the horn with a fully polished finish.

The older the animals get, the bigger their horns get. The older the animal, the more fighting they have done
and the more likely the horns will have damage on them and they can not be used to make a shofar with a half natural
and half polished finish.

To get a half natural and half polished yemenite with a really nice finish is hard to find.

The bigger the horns, the harder it is to find them in a half natural and half polished with a nice finish.

But when you do find a half natural / half polished horn with a nice finish, you have got a beautiful horn.
